Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Portsmouth Dock is special in the fact it is the only place to find Royal Navy past, present and future. You will find HMS Victory, best known for its role in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. 400,000 people visit the ship each year, so it’s a must-see when visiting the dockyard.

Coastal Beaches

Being so close to the coast you can soak up the sun at the coastal spots of Lee-on-Solent and Hill Head beaches. Take a stroll on the beach, jet ski or browse the shops. This stretch is popular with water sports enthusiasts offering sailing and windsurfing as well as a popular fishing spot. The shoreline overlooks one of the busiest sea lanes to and from the English coast, this is a great spot for just watching the boats come and go.
